A short-term visa entitles a person to stay in the Czech Republic/Schengen area for a maximum of 90 days during a 6-month period from the date of first entry. The visa application can be submitted only at the Czech consulate abroad and in most cases; the application is reviewed within 2 weeks from submission.
Documents required for the visa application:
- Filed application
- Passport
- One passport sized photo
- Document confirming the purpose of the stay in Czech Republic (varies depending on the visa type)
- Proof of sufficient financial means during your stay
- Information that ascertains the intention to leave Czech Republic/Schengen area before the visa expiry date
- Proof of travel medical insurance
